Die Cuts With A View "The Homespun Stack"

I used The Homespun Matstack to make today's card.

With just the right amount of glitter and texture and handstiched feel, this mini stack was perfect for making cards! I used the orange paper with white flowers as the background for my card.

I cut out the birds on the branch from another piece from the matstack with craft knife and added it to the card front.

But I had the most fun with the sentiment! There is this one design in The Homespun Stack with a bird and embroidered clouds and flowers and a speech bubble saying 'Hello'. I cut that 'Hello' out and mounted it on the card with foam adhesive for dimension to look like the pink bird saying 'Hello' to the green one.

Hope you enjoy creating with The Homespun Stack!

Diecuts With A View "A Type of Art Stack"

Have you seen this stack?

I LOVE it... there's so much cool typography possibilities contained in this one Die Cuts With A View stack! These papers in yellow, orange, pink, red, ivory, turquoise, blues, black, brown, letters, numbers, words, punctuations, and various finishes are just awesome! Here's a layout I did with A Type of Art stack.

I started with the striped paper as it had all the colors I love together.

I created a rustic frame around my photo with strips of paper that I cut using pinking scissors. I stitched to tie together all the pieces and add some texture.

I wrote my title with a white paint pen on the orange-y pink typed paper and cut it out with scissors. I attached it above the photo and finished the title with alphabet stickers. I journaled above the title to finish the layout.

Make sure to check out all the Die Cuts With A View stacks at JoAnn's!

Stampin' Up! Day 2

Here's my second project using some of the newest products from the Stampin' Up! catalog.

I have used:
1. Natural Composition Specialty paper
2. Raspberry Ripple Ink pad
3. Midnight Musse ink pad
4. Comfort Cafe Designer Fabric
5. Morning Post Alphabet Stamp set
6. Stampin' Up! 8.5"x11" cardstock

The Natural Composition Specialty paper works as a resist paper that soaks up the water-based dry inks revealing the raised image design. You can blend in different colors of inks. That's how I created the backdrop of my card.
