Tutorial: Christmas Tags

Tags are no longer just for labeling and gift giving, they are a part of Holiday crafting. Today I'll show you how to make the above tags with Sizzix dies and stamps by Katelyn Lizardi that you can tie to a gift package as well as use on other craft and decor projects.

Supplies:
Other: Cardstock, tags, Gelatos colors, ink pad, paint brush, adhesive, brush pens, sponge, water, paper towel, brush markers

On white cardstock, stamp the images from Sizzix Framelits Die Set 4PK w/Stamps - Christmas Star, Sizzix Framelits Die Set 4PK w/Stamps - Dove and Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK w/Stamps - Angel. Stamp multiples of the smaller images for clustering. You can also stamp more of the bigger images as well if you wish to layer.

To diecut the stamped images, create the following Sizzix Sandwich - on Sizzix Accessory - Standard Magnetic Platform for Wafer-Thin Dies, place another Sizzix Accessory Standard Cutting Pad. On it, lay the cardstock with the stamped images. Place the corresponding dies blade-side down framing the stamped images and cover with the other Standard Cutting Pad. Pass the whole sandwich through the Sizzix Big Shot machine

Repeat this process till you have die-cut every image. Set them aside.

Color the tags with Gelatos colors. Blend them dry with a sponge.

Splatter some water on the tags and wipe of with dry paper towel.

Color the stamped die-cuts with Gelatos colors and brush markers.

Use foam adhesive to layer the elements.

Cluster the smaller elements around the main images to finish the tags.

I hope you enjoyed today's tutorial and have fun making your own Holiday tags!

These tags are gorgeous! I love all the layers but most of all that luscious deep turquoise background. It's one of my favorite colors!!!❤
