Card Tutorial: Doodle Personalities on Paper Dolls

Hi everyone! Have you ever tried doodling personalities on paper dolls? It's such fun! In this tutorial, I'll show you how to do just that as well as how to use up teeny tiny paper scraps rather than throwing them away. Let's start by looking at the supplies, shall we?

Supplies (some are affiliate links):
Media Venture The Patriot die
Amaze machine
Whip Cream Cardstock
Pixie Play Cardstock
Cool Caribbean Cardstock
RG Days Printed Paper
Raw Gold Silk Luster
Cool Caribbean Silk Luster
Rose Chintz Silk Luster

Journey Glaze
Other: pen, color pencils
Follow along to see how I put the card together.

Start by die-cutting the paper doll using The Patriot die from Richard Garay's Media Venture collection and Amaze machine out of Whip Cream cardstock.
Using Journey Glaze, assemble the doll parts.
Add personality to your doll with pen.
Cut an arch out of cardstock. Attach to the doll. Write your sentiment on it.

Trim Whip Cream cardstock to 8.5" x 5.5". Fold in half to make 4.25" x 5.5" card.
Attach little scraps of cardstock and patterned paper to the card front.
Attach the doll to the card.
Splatter Raw Gold, Rose Chintz and Cool Caribbean Silk Lusters to the card.
Color in some of the details with color pencils.

Here's a close-up of my card.

I hope you'll try this fun technique and the Richard Garay Media Venture collection is a great place to start your collection of paper doll dies!
