Layout Tutorial: All the patterned papers

Hi everyone! As paper crafters, no one can deny our love of patterned papers! I love mixing and matching my print papers to create pretty backgrounds for my layouts, like I did here. These papers are from the Printed Paper Pack Bundle from RG
If you wish to create a layout like mine, you'll need the following supplies (some are affiliate links):
Printed Paper Pack Bundle
This bundle is part of the RG Deal of the Day:
Retail Price: $30.96
Whip Cream Cardstock
Celebra'tions Special Occasion 12" x 12" prints
Berry Black True Color Fusion Ink
Golden Glow True Color Fusion Ink
Picture Perfect Bundle SS-0131

Amaze Die-Cutting Machine
Loads of Fun (SS-0053)
Easy Glide Permanent Adhesive Runner
Others: pens, ruler

Cut your chosen patterned papers into strips. Since I am working on an 8.5" x 11" layout, I measured my strips to be 6" x 1.7" each. If your layout is a different size, measure out your papers.

Attach the strips to the top part of the cardstock as shown. Trim off any excess.

Trim another patterned paper to 5" x 8.5" to cover the bottom part of the cardstock.

Attach a 4" x 6" photo (or a size you prefer) on the bottom part of the layout.

With pen, draw a frame around the photo.

From the Loads of Fun stamp set, stamp the hot air balloon on Whip Cream cardstock with Golden Glow True Color Fusion Ink. Cut it out with scissors.

With Berry Black True Color Fusion Ink, stamp a camera from the Picture Perfect set and die cut it using the Amaze machine.

Attach the stamped pieces to embellish the layout.

Journal below the photo.

Handletter your title and cut it out. Attach on the hot air balloon.

Here are some close-ups of my layout.

I only only used the papers in blocks and strips but you can do so much more with fussy cutting, hand stitching, etc.

Pull out your patterned papers and have some fun!
