Home Decor Tutorial: Watercolor Blooms

Happy Monday! Today I have a home decor project tutorial for you using Watercolor Blooms from Richard Garay. This bouquet will never wither, I promise!

You'll need the following supplies (some are affiliate links):

This bundle is part of the RG Deal of the Day:
Retail Price: $59.95
Easy Glide Permanent Adhesive Runner
Others: Watercolor paper, watercolor pencild, waterbrush, sewing machine, thread, skewers, tape

Let's get started.

Diecut the watercolors blooms out of watercolor paper using die-cutting machine. I cut out three sets. You can cut as many as you need.
Color the flowers with watercolor pencils.
Blend the colors with waterbrush.
Stack the flowers in layers.

Machine stitch the floral layers together.
With watercolor pencil, make marks to look like the flower's center.
Repeat with the other diecut flowers.

Gently curl up the flower petals with your fingers to add some dimension to them.
Cut skewers to different lengths.
Attach skewers to the flowers on the back with tape.
Place your bouquet in a vase of your choice.

I hope you enjoy!
