Card Tutorial: Dream a Beautiful Tomorrow

"Dream A Beautiful Tomorrow" - I love this sentiment because it speaks to that hope with which we stepped into 2017. In today's tutorial, I'll show you how I used this sentiment along with the butterflies to create a card of hope and encouragement.

To make today's card, you'll need the following supplies (some are affiliate links):
This bundle is part of the RG Deal of the Day:
SKU: RGBD-0025
Retail Price: $78.97
Cotton Candy Cardstock

Delightful Daisy Cardstock
Luscious Lime Cardstock

 Whip Cream Cardstock
Berry Black True Color Fusion Ink
Totally Tangerine True Color Fusion Ink
Amaze Die-Cutting Machine
Journey Crease Tool
Easy Glide Permanent Adhesive Runner
Journey Foam Squares - small

So, come on with me as I show you how I put this card together!

Stamp the butterflies from the Enjoy the Journey Stamp set on Whip Cream cardstock using Totally Tangerine True Color Fusion Ink.
Diecut the butterflies using the corresponding dies from the Butterflies Die Set with the Amaze machine.
Diecut the medium and small pierced rectangles from Delightful Daisy and Luscious Lime cardstocks.
Also diecut the heart tag from the Tag Trio set from Cotton Candy cardstock.

Trim Whip Cream cardstock to 8.5" x 5.5". Fold in half to make a 4.25" x 5.5" card. Use the crease tool to make a clean fold.
Splatter Luscious Lime Silk on the card.
Stamp the sentiment on Cotton Candy cardstock with Berry Black True Color Fusion Ink.
Layer the diecut pierced rectangles, heart tag and sentiment block as shown.
Splatter some more Luscious Lime Silk on the assembled pieces. Attach the diecut stamped butterflies with Journey foam squares to add some dimension.

Here are a few close-ups of my card. I hope you enjoy!
