Scrapbook Layout Tutorial with die-cutting

Hello there! How 'bout some Saturday scrapbook inspiration? Can you tell that this layouts is made almost entirely out of diecuts from background to accents?

I used the Sizzix Bigz Plus Die - Botanical Flourish by Lindsey Serata along with the Sizzix Bigz Plus Die - Chains and Sizzix Bigz Plus Die - Arrows by Katelyn Lizardi.

To diecut each of these pieces, you'll need to create the following Sizzix Sandwich: on the Sizzix Big Shot Plus Accessory - Cutting Pads, Standard, place the Sizzix Bigz Plus Die - Botanical Flourish, blade-side up and on it place the paper of your choice. Cover it with the other Sizzix Big Shot Plus Accessory Standard Cutting Pad and pass the whole sandwich through the Big Shot Plus machine. This will give you the background piece for the layout.

Repeat this step to die-cut the Chain and Arrows.

Lay the diecut back ground Botanical Flourish piece with a little adhesive on a piece of cardstock and machine stitch along the edges. I used an 8.5" x 11" cardstock. You could easily use a 12" x 12" cardstock instead.

Choose your photos.

Attach the photos to show through the Chain 'frames' and trim off any excess.

Attach the framed photos to the page.

I ended up die-cutting another Arrow. Attach your arrow to the layout as shown.

Brush-letter the title. You can use stickers or diecut alphabets as well.

Attach the title and sew across the arrow. Journal below. Splatter some paints to finish.
