Little Gift Boxes

Do you pay as much attention to the gift box as much as you do to the gift itself? A well-wrapped gift is a gift in itself! Unwrapping it, bit by bit... isn't that a lot of fun? And if it is something that I can keep long after the gift is used, even better! That's what inspires me when I prepare presents for giving. For instance, this wooden box that I'm giving out some chocolates in this year.

To make this gift box, you'll need:
Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Textural Accents: Gesso, Gel Medium, Texture Luxe Silver, Texture Gems 3 Ct. Metallics, Stencils 10 ct 101 collection

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos®: Metallic Melon, Gelatos Designer Colors -50's Diner
Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Palette Knife
Others: Wooden box, tissue paper, stamp

Now, let me walk you through the steps.

Apply Gesso to the wooden box. On the top panel, attach a piece of tissue paper with gel medium. Let dry.

Color the box with the Gelatos colors.

Color a script stamp with Blood Orange Gelatos color and stamp around the box.

Lay stencil over the top panel and apply Texture Luxe Silver with palette knife. Let dry.

Use Texture Gems to create a design around the stenciled top panel.
Once dry, your box is ready to put your gift in!
