Here's a Fall layout

Today, I want to share with you my first layout for the Make Amazing Design Team.

Our assignment was to create a project with these three main products from the Celebra'tions collection by Richard Garay:
3. Celebra'tions Linen Thread (SCT-001)

I'll show you how I have used these products in my layout:
Celebra'tions Solid: use both sides of these double-sided papers to create a double mat for your photo and hand-cut some fun accents.
Celebra'tions Brush Strokes Stamp: create a background feature that adds color and serve as a journaling spot.
Celebra'tions Linen Thread: to add texture to the layout and to create a fun title.

I have also added these products along the way:
Celebra'tions Ink pads:
Fun Stampers Journey Grand Pro Shears 9", Product # [TO-0064]

Ink up one of the Brush Strokes stamp with Odacious Orange ink pad and stamp near the top of Butter Cream cardstock. Keep stamping with all the stamps from set, one at a time using Cotton Candy, Captivating Coral and Pixie Play ink pads as shown.

Trim about 24" of Pink and 48" of Green Linen Thread.

Trim Celebra'tions Print paper to one 5" x 7" piece and one 4.5" x 6.5" piece.
Use White Liner adhesive to attach the Pink Linen Thread to the base piece of the double mat for the photo as shown.
Attach the photo to the reverse design side of the smaller block of Celebra'tions Print paper with Easy Glide Permanent Adhesive Runner. Attach the mounted photo to the base piece with small Journey Foam Squares to allow room for the Pink Linen Thread.

On some scrap piece of cardstock, spell out the letters 'F', 'A', 'L', 'L' with White Liner. It's really easy! Peel off the liner strips and attach the Green Linen Thread to the tacky surface. Once the adhesive is covered, cut the letters out with the Journey Details Pro Shears.

Attach some more White Liner to the back of the letters and attach near the base of the photo to create the title.
Attach the matted photo to the layout.

And what Fall layout of mine would be complete without some ink or paint splatters, eh? So, if you are like me, cover that photo and splatter some Silver and Gold Silks on the page! And why stop at that? Use the brush from the Silk bottles to doodle some matching leaves too.

Use part of the Brush Stroke stamped area to journal.

Cut some leaf shapes out of the Celebra'tions Print paper and tuck them behind the photo to finish.
Hope you enjoyed today's layout and techniques :)
