Creating with Stampin' Up! Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of creating with Stampin' Up!
You can see my previous posts on this here, here and here.

In today's project, I have used the following Stampin' Up! products:
Retro Fresh This & That Journal 132998
Happy Watercolor Clear Set of 8 Stamps 133191
Watercolor Wonder designer Washi Tape 133000
Fancy Foil designer Vellum Gold 133363
Basic Metal Buttons 133319
Others: palette knife, gesso, paints, ink, etc.

The Retro Fresh journal is a lot of fun. I haven't decided what I'd do with the debossed chipboard cover. I like it the way it is and might  leave it as is with maybe a small title. The inside is filled with pages in vibrant colors, pockets, envelopes, etc.  I'm making it into an everyday mini scrapbook. Here's the first page I did.

And a closer look:

You should really give this book a try!  The size is about 6' x 8". There are 30 double-sided coordinated printed sheets, two pocket pages, 2 super cute envelopes. As you can see, it's spiral bound which means the pages lay flat making it easy to work with. If you are not into mixed media style and don't love jumbling things, you can get the whole Retro Fresh collection to work with. It has washi tapes, stickers, journaling tags, as well as papers that match the journal itself and a cool rotary stamp.

Loving the foiled vellum and metal buttons too! You'll see more of those in upcoming projects :)
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Friday!
