Creating with Glitz Design Whatnots



This week's featured product at Glitz Design blog are Whatnots! In case you are not familiar with Glitz Whatnots, they are vibrantly colored and precisely cut diecut elements that can work wonders on your layouts, cards, and other paper projects. Here's an example
 I have been dying to use that flower diecut from the Finnley Whatnots pack and a card seemed to be the best way to give the beautiful flowers the spotlight. After creating the base of the card with Finnley patterned papers, some paint and thread, when I attached the diecut flowers, I felt something was missing. So, I went in with a black pen to add some details. This connected the black feather elements in the diecut with the black ink of the sentiment tucked below. Splattering some green and gold paints were just the finishing touches the card needed.

Glitz Design "Finnley" 6 x 6 paper pad
Glitz Design ""Finnley" Whatnots
Glitz Design "Hello December" Stamp Tin
Others: white cardstock, sewing pattern, cream, gold and green acrylic paints, black ink pad, thread, paint brush, palette knife
