CK's Creative Spaces and a GIVEAWAY

This is the front cover of CK's newest special issue "Creative Spaces with Megan Hoeppner".
The issue is jam-packed with clever and cool ideas for organizing your scrapbooking stash that double as colorful home decor. There are ideas for organizing really small spaces through medium sized ones to lucky large rooms. Whether you scrap at your dining table, a walk-in closet or a devoted room, there's something in this issue that will make you say, 'Why didn't I think of that!' There's also a section dedicated to decor created with scrapbook supplies. Take a sneak peek here.
If you use the coupon code SPACESBB, you'll get free shipping in the US. The coupon expires 5/27/11.
And yes, you have guessed it! Thanks to CK, I'm giving away ONE copy to one randomly picked lucky winner who leaves a comment to this post with their favorite organization tip by 5/15. I'll announce the winner on 5/16. Please also leave your email address, so I can email you if you are the winner. And don't forget to keep checking the CK blog this week for more ideas.
Good  luck to all :)

Favorite storage is pull out drawers by colour - you can match anything that way.

Orgainze your scrapbooking supplies by subject or theme in IRIS containers. That way when you are working on a certain theme you won't spend time looking for what you need.

My best organizational tip is to keep what you really want to use visible. Sometimes out of sight really is out of mind =)

I'm also a very visual person!! If it's out of site I tend to forget everything I have! So when I am planning a project I pull out all of the items I will need, then keep them "in my face" until I get the time to create!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

My favourite organization tip is to pin all my stickers on a huge corkboard above my desk. I can see everything and they add such colour and life to my scrapspace!

I'm in desperate need of some organization. You cannot even walk in my room! My goal for this year is to organize my room! So far I've taken my ribbons and wrapped them around clothespins.

I love all sorts of clear jars; candy jars, mason jars, and any other sort of jar I find at Target or Homegoods. It's a great way to add decoration and organize all your goodies!

OHHH! I LOVE organizing! I love redecorating and organizing my studio! My only piece of advice is to go through your stash of paper, embellies, etc. every year (or even 6 months) and get rid of anything that you haven't used in over a year. It's good to donate these to children's hospitals/etc. and it helps keep your room clean and clutter free:) THANKS for the chance to win--sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com

Thanks for the giveaway, my best tip is to DESTASH and give stuff away often, it makes you able to cope better with what you do have.

My most favorite and inexpensive storage unit for embellishments and stamps is a little plastic drawer set found in the automotive department at Kmart. Several different styles with different amounts of drawers, probably used for nuts and bolts and the like. Usually under 20 bucks! :)

Favorite tip would be organized your stamps (clear ones) but theme and if there are quite a few for one particular theme, put into a sepearte binder - in the clear sleeves that are 2 per page (4x6).
Organize cs by color and then texture. I still need help in organizing the whole room!

I'm so glad I found your blog. It was so nice chatting with you at BPS on this past Saturday. I love all the crafty things you have on your blog. The peeks into your scrap space was fun too, it's beautiful and bright. I plan on coming back to get more ideas from you. By the way your first digital layout is great. Way to go on trying something new. I still need to make a digital layout too. Don't include my name for the drawing, let one of your regular readers win it. Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Have a great weekend. I also became a follower here too.

I have an extensive collection of dry embossing templates that I store in a binder designed to hold 4x6 photos. I store the templates by category. I can quickly flip through the binder to see what I might want to use for a particular project. Because I can see the templates, it also allows me to create my own designs using bits and pieces from several templates. ... I briefly looked through this magazine (my friend's copy") and it's a winner! Your studio is so great. I wonder if you can tell me where I can find the journals that you use to keep your ideas. They are pictured in your studio and look like they can hold pages with lots of "stuff" on them. Thanks for any help. (And if I don't win a copy of the magazine, I will certainly purchase it. Way too many cool ideas!)

Awesome giveaway! Was just thinking of ways to organize my scrap room this week... And trolling online for ideas. I think I'm really liking the idea of peg boards to hang all of my tools and embellies that are still in their packaging- maybe I will remember to use them!
